Western science is indispensable and has achieved extraordinary results, yet it is not the only valid framework for understanding our planet and its inhabitants. Across cultures and civilizations, there exist long-standing philosophies, ideologies and practices that have demonstrated profound potentials, yet remain under-studied or dismissed.

Izvor exists to offer an integrative response, bringing these various approaches together with discernment and scientific responsibility, rejecting unfounded claims while remaining open to investigation. Not in opposition to science, but independent from the economic structures that often constrain it. 

Izvor is a center where diverse practices—environmental, psychological, educational, medical—are brought into one place. It does not claim to hold a definitive solution. Instead, it creates the conditions for serious research, collaboration, discussion, and experimentation to understand what genuinely works, whether that is care of the land, education, sustainable living or health.
